Success Story - Pumpkin
Hi to all.
Well sure did not take long for "Butterscotch", now "Pumpkin" to make herself at home. When let her out of carrier, went to finish up canned food left by other 3 cats, drank water, peed in litter box, then went to play with a ball. After that, she went to sleep for a number of hours under our bed.
Later she ate dry food, same as we give them at shelter, did some exploring of rest of house, slept again. She slept at bottom of our bed, that first night. . There has been no fighting, just some hissing/spitting at times, but was the same when "Crackers" came here,in Feb. She slept in catbed yesterday. She has to get used to being fed earlier , as we get up 5:15, but she sure enjoys her food. I can easily pick her up & she loves to be petted & stroked.; is just very sweet & craves love & attention. Right now, she is rubbing against my legs. She goes to vet Sat., so will keep you posted.
She is the right addition to our "cat family" ! See you soon, Eleanor
